Poncho Artist Series - Yann Legall

Yann Le Gall is a graffiti artist from La Réunion, with a degree in graphic design and advertising from the École de Communication Visuelle in Bordeaux. He is particularly renowned for his “Waves on Walls” project, through which he reinvents spaces and nature, drawing inspiration from tropical islands and the sea, all with a poetic approach. His works are characterized by clean lines and colors influenced by the Impressionists and pop culture. His artistic universe is often rooted in the tropical horizon of La Réunion, with emblematic elements such as choka, Durand potatoes, waves and beachfronts. Alongside his artistic activity, Yann Le Gall is also passionate about bodyboarding, a discipline that nourishes his art and reflects his deep connection with the ocean and island culture.
