Poncho Seaweed - Passion

NATHALIE FERCOQ’s drawings are as spontaneous and unique as a picture shot on the spot. 
Trained as a graphic designer at EPSAA in Paris, Nathalie has explored different drawing techniques over the years, but favors the aesthetic and minimalist technique of a continuous line. 
Nature and humans are her main inspirations. Her free time is dedicated to sketching and seizing the moment! With a single continuous line, she succeeds in capturing the ephemeral expression of her subjects. A heavy stroke can suggest a stronger presence and the sensitivity of a lighter stroke can indicate subtlety or delicacy. Whether she is drinking coffee on a terrace, exploring the forests or chilling on a beach, she is able to unravel each of her subjects’ identities, their gestures and their lines through her sketches. 
On our collaboration poncho, Nathalie draws her inspiration from the sub-aquatic world. Printed on a 50% cotton / 50% polyester terry fabric, the seaweed drawing seems alive, dancing under water through the movement of waves.
